For the fifth time since January, Tesla has cut prices on their vehicles. Here’s a link from Reuters. We predicted the same in our last piece.
Tesla cut prices on both versions of its Model 3 sedan by $1,000 and on its Model Y crossover by $2,000, the website showed. It also cut prices on both versions of its more expensive Model S and Model X by $5,000.

We’re paying close attention to Tesla price cuts, as it impacts us as we negotiate the value of our totaled Model 3. Model 3 now starts at $41,990, Model Y at $49,990 (a standard range, Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive is new for Q2), Model S at $84,990, and Model X at $94,990.
It’s good for people wanting to pay cheaper for a Tesla in the 🇺🇸 and good for more EV’s on the road. Elon’s estimate of fantastic demand on price cuts has fallen flat. As production increases and tax credits get harder to get, prices will fall further. Over the next 12 months, I expect more EV’s introduced worldwide, which is good for everyone. Cleantechnica estimates EV’s now make up 10% of the worldwide vehicle market.
