Business: Business cards

Our eBay business is moving along. We had 7 sales this week. We expanded into an eBay store here. Shopify is slow as dirt, no sales. We did hand out many business cards pointing to Shopify when we handed out Trick or Trade Pokemon cards for Halloween. That was well received. We’ll move our main website off of Shopify in 2 months. Every eBay order we have, we send out our business card. We are almost out. Where’s a good place to buy business cards? We go over prices for 3 popular options.

Canva

Canva allows you to get 100 standard, matte business cards for $19. They make it easy to design it the way you want. Photo: Canva app

We were happy with our first business card printing with Canva. We were able to buy design elements, upscale the paper quality and have images on both sides. The shipment came in sustainable, recyclable packaging. The price per card reduces slower than Vistaprint as you buy more

Vistaprint

Similar options on Vistaprint are $18 for 100. Photo: Vistaprint

Vistaprint has a good reputation. You can get 250 cards for 10 cents a card. We may try them out and compare with Canva. In a low margin business like selling trading cards, even pennies matter.

Moo

Moo was $42 for 100 standard, original, matte, square corner business cards. Photo: Moo

We found Moo on Instagram advertising to us. The prices are double Canva and Vistaprint. We can’t justify trying out Moo business cards currently. We’d rather invest that in sustainable shipping and packaging.

Final thoughts

We know there are digital ways to upload business cards. We’ll get them eventually. For ecommerce, that personal touch of a business card may make the difference to another repeat sale.

What’s your favorite place to buy business cards? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
