According to CNN (1), 25% of the Maui wildfires have been searched, with 99 people dead so far. It seems likely the death total will climb. The deaths would be the largest loss of life due to wildfire in the US.

Initial efforts to help are always high. Donations go down as the next disaster strikes and interest wanes. Let’s do what we can in the moment to help. smilingdad has donated $25 to the Maui Food Bank.

With every $1 donated, the Maui Food Bank can provide 4 meals to the hungry living in our island community. Give now and together we can make a difference.
Maui Food Bank
If everyone of our subscribers donated $25, that adds up to hundreds of meals. These people have lost everything.
Thanks once again to our 144 subscribers for sticking with this blog.
Sincerely yours,
smilingdad
