ZenBusiness vs Northwest Registered Agent, setting up your LLC

Zenbusiness advertising next steps on starting a business

As we looked into setting up our LLC, we found a few firms that make it easier for you to start one. You are always welcome to do it yourself. Key point, you don’t have to set up your LLC in the state you live in. You can choose the state that’s best for your new business.

We recommend speaking to a CPA on the implications based on where you live. We’re going to start ours in Delaware. Forbes says 66.8% of Fortune 500 companies are incorporated in Delaware. Delaware is best for overall business friendliness and high levels of privacy.

Zenbusiness has a helpful comparison between them and Northwest Registered Agent. We’re going with Northwest Registered Agent because they have helped 2 million businesses start, have some useful extras like helping you get your EIN, and ongoing costs are lower every year.

If you started an LLC, we’d love to hear how you set it up, and how your business is going so far.

Sincerely yours,

My story is one of tragedy and redemption. We've made many mistakes along the way regarding our money. Our goal here is to show you how to take care of your money life long, and as much as we can, help the Earth along the way. I call it sustainable personal finance and ethical capitalism.
