This is my first blog post intended to be heard as a podcast. On Sunday, Pi Day, I used anchor.fm to convert my most recent blog posts into Spotify podcasts. Every post from now on will get the same treatment. Some of us do better reading the material, others need to be immersed in audio, and some will benefit from both. My hope is by broadening how this blog is consumed, we reach a wider audience. Forgive me while we test out different podcast patterns. We are on this ride together.

If you told my high school English teachers that I would have a blog, write on two websites, have a podcast, and communicate for a living, they would be mortified, then proud how I redeemed myself. One high school teacher requested I buy a computer to help write my papers. My handwriting and English was that bad. I’ve come a long way.

As you can imagine, personal finance is made easier by charts, tables, and pictures. I will do my best to convert these blog images into words that make sense. I plan to go through each podcast, critically condemn myself, re-do the underlying blog, and read the post in my own voice. From time to time, my youngest will speak the posts she dictates to me. At the moment, there are 22 blogs and 2 hours of audio. That’s stunning to me, because it sure took a lot longer than 2 hours to put together.

Thanks to my WordPress readers for their initial and continuing support, and thanks to my new Spotify listeners for taking a chance on my podcast.

Thanks for reading!

Warmest regards,

My story is one of tragedy and redemption. We've made many mistakes along the way regarding our money. Our goal here is to show you how to take care of your money life long, and as much as we can, help the Earth along the way. I call it sustainable personal finance and ethical capitalism. Currently, I am a part time writer for Cleantechnica and part-time licensed financial professional, along with being a full-time dad.
